Sometimes you are just left speechless...

I don't even know what to say about this one...

The One Million Signatures Campaign is a project by the Iranian Women's Movement in an attempt to gain equality.

Esha Momeni is a graduate student from California who is doing her Master's thesis on the project.

She was recently arrested, and is currently detained in the Iranian intelligence prison.

People tell me that religion does no harm.

Tell me that her arrest has nothing to do with religion. Tell me that this has nothing to do with the blind faith of the Iranian leaders.

My heart goes out to her, and her friends and family.

I don't know if you guys have seen this on drudge report or anywhere else, but SF has a measure on the ballot this year to legalize prostitution, which I thought you might find interesting: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/10/05/BAQ01387OA.DTL
