Obama is coming to Springfield on Saturday.
This is very exciting news. If anyone hasn't caught on, Obama is sorta a big deal.
The event is planned for Saturday evening. It is going to start at 6:00 pm over at JFK stadium at Parkview High School.
My plan is to get into town early Saturday morning and keep an eye on the site until people start lining up, and then assume position in the line. I am pretty sure that the rest of Teh Juggernauts will be there vibrating with excitement. You will probably also see a whole array of other honorary team members, assorted Pastafarians, and a few radical parents. =)
This is a first-come-first-serve event and I would encourage getting there early if anyone wants to join into the fray!

Bus Campaign in England
Oh, My!
Ok, so, here's the lowdown, an atheist group in England raised some money to buy ads on the sides of buses that say "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."
They've raised more than double what they needed are are plastering both the insides and outsides of buses all over London.
Atheism ftw!

Basically, your federal income taxes. The data is from the President's budget request for 2009. It will be debated, amended, and approved by Congress by October 1st to begin the fiscal year.
The poster provides a uniquely revealing look at our national priorities, that fluctuate yearly, according to the wishes of the President, the power of Congress, and the will of the people. If you pay taxes, then you have paid for a small part of everything in the poster."
