The One Million Signatures Campaign is a project by the Iranian Women's Movement in an attempt to gain equality.

Esha Momeni is a graduate student from California who is doing her Master's thesis on the project.

She was recently arrested, and is currently detained in the Iranian intelligence prison.

People tell me that religion does no harm.

Tell me that her arrest has nothing to do with religion. Tell me that this has nothing to do with the blind faith of the Iranian leaders.

My heart goes out to her, and her friends and family.

Sarah Palin was on SNL last night

And she was...okay. I give her props for making fun of herself, but that surely doesn't make it any better than she is dumber than a rock.

I fear that people will think her being on SNL was beneficial for her campaign and that they will wrongly think she is super hip and cool for being on the show.

She didn't really do much other than her usual shit. The cast definitely had to carry her.
